School Visits

The Troy Fire Protection District offers tailored visits to our schools, preschools, and daycare facilities. Visits vary based on students age and the needs of the school. Common activities include “touch a truck” events where students can tour our fire trucks and ambulances. Team members also offer lessons on how and when to call 911, and what to expect from first responders in an emergency.  A favorite event for everyone is the annual pumpkin drop! Our crews put students packing skills to the test droping their pumpkins from our ladder truck.  For more information on how to schedule an event please fill out the form below.

School visits are booked on a first come first available basis. To request a fire station tour, please fill out and submit this form completely. Your form must be submitted a minimum of two weeks in advance prior to your scheduled event. We will contact your soon after your submission to confirm or deny you request based on availability.  Please keep in mind, our firefighters are on 24-hour emergency service and may be unavailable at the time of your scheduled event. In these cases, we will attempt to notify you to reschedule your event.
